Raw Energy Bites!

raw hemp energy bites For a quick boost of energy try making these easy no bake energy bites filled to the max with protein, fiber, omega 3s and energy boosting coconut oil. Soaking the seeds ahead of time starts the sprouting process which make them easier to digest.

Makes about 12 small bites

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower or pumpkin seeds (preferably soaked for an hour if time permits)

  • 10 pitted medjool dates (soaked for about a half hour to make them easier to process)

  • ¼ cup raw almond butter

  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 Tbsp hemp hearts + extra for coating

  • 1 Tbsp maca powder

  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil

  • Pinch of natural sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place sunflower or pumpkin seeds into a food processor and process until finely chopped.

  2. Add all other ingredients to the processed seeds and process until a sticky dough forms.

  3. Roll into small balls and use hemp hearts to roll the balls in to coat.

  4. Eat right away for a quick boost of energy or place in a container and store in the fridge to enjoy later!
