My favourite Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing

lemon tahini dressingI  love this salad dressing, its one of my favorites. Its a nice creamy salad dressing that is flavourful and very healthy. I either make this in the food processor for a more creamier version or if I don’t feel like cleaning out my food processor I will make it without. The only difference is you need to mince the garlic and use warm water if you’re not using a food processor.

My favourite Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing

This creamy salad dressing is a favourite in our household. Use it as a salad dressing or as a dip for cut up vegetables.
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3-4 tbsp water
Instructions
  1. Food Processor method:
  2. Roughly chop garlic
  3. Add the garlic, tahini, olive oil and salt to the food processor
  4. Grate some of the rind and add the juice of the lemon to food processor
  5. Blend together and slowly add the water until desired consistency
  6. Mix by hand method:
  7. In a bowl add the tahini, olive oil and salt
  8. Mince garlic very fine and add to the bowl
  9. Grate some of the rind and add the juice of the lemon to the bowl
  10. Add in warm water and wisk all ingredients together, the warm water will make it easier to blend the tahini with the other ingredients
